Outras Publicacións is the label that identifies those books published out of series by the University Press. This means that, as far as the scientific responsibility and the financing are concerned, these works are not under the direct control that the University Press exerts through peer-review or through the collections’ directors. It is the departments, institutes, research groups of projects that take full responsibility for the scientific evaluation of the submissions and supply the necessary funds for their production. In other cases, works that result from co-edition or from external collaboration are also published out of series.
